Professional Development is the continuous process of acquiring new knowledge and skills that relate to one’s profession, job responsibilities, or work environment. It often overlaps with Personal Development, and the strategies are very smilar. Professional Development establishes the framework that plays a key role in maintaining trained, informed, and motivated employees, regardless of job classification. Often a life coach is hired to oversee the strategies needed to establish these key roles in a way that is adaptable, attainable, clear, fair and produce optimal results.
