Payment and Termination
All payments are billed monthly and are due at the beginning of each month. Unless otherwise confirmed I do not offer single stand alone sessions. All initial individual patient contracts are based on an initial 3 month commitment (couples and families excluded). Terminations require a two week notice. Mid-cycle terminations without any notice are not subjected to refunds. I accept cash, check, major credit cards or PayPal.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment without prior notice, at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay full cost of the session. Cancellations and rescheduling appointments need to be made by phone call. I will forgo a cancellation fee if efforts are made to reschedule within the same week and are not on the same day.
On time policy
Note that I make the best effort to start my sessions on-time. Unless otherwise scheduled, sessions start at the beginning of the hour and last 50 minutes. Please make every attempt to be on-time and time your travel time accordingly. Being tardy will only resort in less session time.
On some rare occasion, my sessions may go past the hour. This occurrence is rare and only happens on special circumstances. Please read the sing on the door. If the sign reads "In a meeting/Do not Disturb" and your appointment time is approaching, send me a text message at 310-713-6227 indicating your outside my door, and I will make every effort to see you soon.
New Client Information Form
- My consultations is a one-time flat rate and 4-hours in length; please call for rate.
- The consultation is divided into three parts: 1) Getting a full social, emotional, interpersonal relationships, and career/education background. 2) Experiencing a full session demonstrating my unique integrative style of combining the traditional psychotherapeutic model, with real time objective Life-Coaching. 3) A treatment plan with a potential clinical diagnosis (optional) can be provided towards the end of the consultation, or else the consultation fee is waived.
- There is no obligation to commitment to future therapy sessions in having a consultation.
- All standard sessions thereafter are 50-minutes.
- Session rates for Individuals: Please call for the session fee. The market comps are highly competitive and inflated in value based on peoples true credentials. I try to provide honest affordable and fair rates which I will discuss at the end of the consultation. Usually my rates are based on income and investment in therapy. I offer some sliding scale for individuals having financial difficulties.
For Couples:
- Initial one-time 4.5 hour couple consolation, please call for rate.
- Consultation will insist of a full relationship history, followed by a full session, and recommendations. There is no obligation for committing to future session unless mutually agreed on by all parties.
- After the consultation the following format will be two individual sessions with each partner separately, followed up again with a couple's session; and repeat as many times required.
- Each couple session thereafter is 70-minutes and individual sessions are 50-minutes.
